Carnival is still an American company therefore they take US currency onboard, it may be possible however that the pursers desk can exchange other currency for you.
Thanks for the info. We took a Med cruise aboard MSC cruise lines last year and the dollar to Euro conversion killed us when we used the casino. Since then the dollar has dipped even lower against the Euro. Since Carnival is based in US it would still use dollars in the casino and we wouldn't have to convert to Euros. Thanks Again
