What do you enjoy most about a Carnival Cruise? People sometimes give Carnival a bad rap from some of their early days. Why do you enjoy Carnival so much? Please let everyone know why you enjoy todays Carnival Product.

I took my first Carnival cruise in 1988 and I loved it, so much that I honeymooned on Carnival in 1991 and then took all subsequent vacations on Carnival since then. We never even think to do anything else but cruise on Carnival for vacations.

I think the ships have gotten a lot better and a lot bigger since 1988. There are more ammenities and more luxuries but the service is just as great as it was in 1988.

The thing I enjoy most now is the same thing I enjoyed most in 1988, relaxing by the pool and eating gormet food every night and having someone basically take care of me for a week.

Carnival always has better pricing.
I have never had a problem with carnival. As a family of 5 price is important. Since we cruise 3x a year.
A cruise is what you make of it.

We like the entertainment on Carnival more than the other mainstream lines we have tried (Princess, RCCL, Norwegian). As for the food, service and ambience, it seems to be about even when everything is factored in. The breakfast choices might be better here, but the dinner is more to our liking there etc. Entertainment is the only area we have noticed where one line stands out as being better, and that line was Carnival.

I can always find a great price and I always feel like I got more than what I paid for.

All things considered, I do believe that Carnival gives me the best product for the money (or we would not sail them as much as we do).

But one of the things I have appreciated Carnival for since 1998 is the way they have cared for our Special Needs Child. Now you will not get one on one (that is unrealistic). But they have exceeded our expectations time and time again and continue to do so. He is 16 years old and is headed out on his 18th cruise at the end of the month with 3 more booked through January. He loves Club 02 and the same care that Camp Carnival provided has followed on up the ranks to Club 02. If they make my child happy and feel safe and secure....then Momma is thrilled.

As for additional perks for frequent cruisers....we are working on that. I have had an active campaign for about a year to have a Black (Elite) card added for 25 cruises. I put this on EVERY comment card!!
So join the campaign!!!

Well in 1999 we were booked RCCL Enchantment of the Seas. 2 1/2 weeks before sailing it broke down. When the agent called she says no problem
I can book you on the Grandeur. Two days later yet another call this ship has also broken down. It spring break we needed two cabins???
The agent calls and says I have two cabins on Carnival Sensation but no flights out of Tampa home. Our first thought was oh my Carnival
not good ship has party hardy reviews. We we tried to find another means of vacation and no way. We were booked on the Sensation and getting home out agent had a rental car for us at the cruise terminal
and we drove to Orlando air port. The rest is history. We love Carnival
and have been on 6 since and have our 7th booked for 2008.
We did do 3 RCCL's prior to 1999 and have never given it a thought to go back. We cruise 1 Celebrity worst ever.
CCL love the price, the whole carnival experience. We have taken our grown children 2 times and probably woulkd not have been able to other wise.
Love to cruise. Cheryl and Walter

We have gotten the best deals on Carnival, which means we can cruise more. Also my 7yo DD LOVES them, and has to be pulled out of Camp Carnival.
