I'm just curious if I go on this cruise in January (4-day Ecstacy) and its raining like mad , what changes will carnival make to their outdoor events?

It poured on our last sea day last week (on the Enchantment, sorry ccl) It was very disappointing since the sea days are my favorite. Anyway, pool side activities were cancelled (sexy legs contest) but the horseracing was moved inside since money was involved. I spent the day shopping, drinking, packing, drinking, loosing too much money in the casino and oh yes, drinking.

On our recent Spirit cruise we were a little late into Ocho Rios and the tours were meeting in the showroom. It started raining (sprinkling) outside. The Carnival rep. said we could cancel if we wanted. I don't know if it was because we were late, or if it is the policy all the time. I was quite surprised that they would do this in the tropics.

We just got off Inspiration and it raining on Friday and Saturday of our cruise. A lot of things were canceled or moved to other places. Not many people we out on Saturday because everyone was so sick. Fifteen foot waves will do that to you. Make sure you take some kind of motion sickenss medicine.

so 15 ft waves can move a 70,000 ton ship that bad? I never got motion sickness from any of my cruises , just fluid sickness
