I certainly do not have all the answers, but i will fill you in on what I know or have an opinion on: Only one of the 2 f-3 ships are on hold, that is as on yesterday, who knows about the other one. As for another line thinking or taling NCL over, that is strictly rumor and who knows who started it. Yes, Star may sell the line, but there are so many rumors out there: Carnival, RCI, MSC< Oceana and none of the above. They decision was made to forget about the first F-3 ship. The economy sucks as we all know, there were some legal issues and the overall idea of F-3 is in question. I would guess it will be weeks, maybe months before we have a clear picture as to what the future holds.
Of course, like many I would hate to see Carnival take over. I do think it is important to point out, NCL is not going to go under. I have watched too many lines suffer and go belly up: NCL is no way near that.
Again, this is my opinion, but one held by many in the industry.
