What passes for formal wear on Fascination?

For a woman: Is a pair of black dress slacks, fancy blouse and high heels good enough for formal night dinner?

For a man: Is a pair of dress slacks and a shirt and tie enough? It's hard to get him to wear an entire suit.

The last time we cruised was on RCI and we were the most dressed up at the table. There were men who wore just a decent polo shirt and dockers or black pants.

Those outfits will be fine for formal or what Carnival now calls elegant night. They no longer require a jacket for men so a shirt and tie will do.
