I'm going on a cruise starting next Thursday the 4th on Imagination and I would love to find some good things to do in Cozumel and Key West for cheap. Any input would be great.. Also any one else going to beon this cruise?

I really enjoy Chankanaab park, it is rather inexpensive with lots of things to do. There are restaraunts, diving huts, snorkel gear to rent etc. There is a small play ground if you have children and the dolphin encounter is there as well. You can get more info here: http://www.cozumelparks.com/

I have only been to Key West once but if I were going back I think I would rent a scooter and just ride around but that's just me.

Hope that helps

Paradise Beach is nice. We were there a couple years ago. The were hit pretty hard by the hurricane not long after we were there but they have rebuilt and from what I understand they are better than ever. The beach was free as long as you purchased some food or drink which was great. The service was excellent, they brought your food and drinks right to your beach chair. There was a small charge if you used any of the water toys. There was parasailing near by massages and plenty of things to keep you busy.

Have fun, your first cruise will be only the first of many more to come. Come back and see us often and be sure to post a review when you return.

Welcome to the board.

Re: What to do in Cozumel?

Paradise Beach is great, shopping is pretty good there. Grab a cab, you will find drivers that are willing to negotiate and show you the high points. See if talume is available from your port always a great time.

Key west is a nice place to beach also, check out the treasure hunters museum that was really cool too.

Our very first cruise was the same itinerary, 4 days and we loved it.

have a great time

FIRST TIMERS

We are taking our 1st ever cruise to Gayman, Coz and Montego. Can any of the veterans give me an idea on what to do, what not to do, how much can we expect to spend on just stuff, excursions? Should I prebook excursions? What about transportation from the airport to the pier? Should I pre book it through carnival or will taxi be avail at the airport? Which is cheaper? What are some items we should bring that we may not think we should? HELP!!!!
