Gayle - funny you should mention going out over there. We went to a casino as I mentioned in another thread...but what some of our friends did was tag along with some of the boat's crew. I know that sounds a little unsavory as well, but these people know all of the local hot spots and actually look out for you, even though they are "off duty". Our friends said that once they got to these little clubs and restaurants, they paid for a lot of the crew's drinks/food as a token of their appreciation, although the crew members in tow didn't expect it. That is a possibility as well.
