Hi,
I'm cruising to Key West, Cayman Islands, and Jamaica during the last week of March. Has anyone cruised during that time? I'm concerned about what types of clothes to bring. Will is be warm enough for shorts? How are the nights on the ship...cold? Any packing info would be great!
Thanks a bunch!

I was on my last cruise the first week in April and it was plenty warm in Grand Caymans and Jamaica. Florida was cooler and required pants. I would bring a light jacket for evenings outdoors (balcony and upper decks) and a shawl/jacket for the dining room since they tend to be cool.

Grand Caymans and Jamaica........bring shorts :)

It should be in the 80's in both Grand Cayman and Jamaica. You can look at Yahoo weather and get the average highs and lows. We usually go in March and the weather has always been nice.

The ship is air conditioned so it will be cooler in the ship. Maybe bring a light sweater to wear indoors on the ship. Also, at night the ships go faster so it gets windy on deck so again, a light sweater or jacket for out on deck at night.

We have always cruised in March or the first week of April and the weather has always been great. Jamaica and Grand Cayman were really warm the couple times we've been there. I've never been to Key West so I can't say anything about the weather there. We've always packed shorts, t-shirts, tanks, your basic summer clothes and those have always been fine. I've never had to use pants on any cruise I've been on (during the day) and I do always take a light sweater but have never had to use it. For the evenings on the ship I always have a skirt or capri pants on and my husband wears pants and a shirt for dinner then we go to the shows like that and are always comfortable. The ship can sometimes be cool but it's never been bad or uncomfortable for us.

We cruise every year in March - leave the winter/cool weather stuff at home! I dress like it's June in Texas. You will need a sweater though usually in the dining rooms and in the wind on deck later at night! 33 days till we leave! Have fun!! Karen

I would stick to mostly capris and t-shirts for the day, jeans and maybe a jacket for the night.

Hope the helps :)
