I always book guarantee and have never received my cabin assignment from Carnival prior to arriving at the pier. And, that includes two back2backs with them. I didn't know my cabin for week two until day one of week two began. I don't really care where they put me, and I like the surprise of it all when I board the ship. Enjoy your cruise, mlz!
