Documents arrive anywhere from 30 days to one week before you sail. Your packet often is sent to the TA for approval (who makes sure everything is correct) then it is forwarded to you. Sometimes, the packet comes directly from the cruise line. If you don't book air with the cruiseline, you may get your packet sooner than later. If the TA booked your air or it was through the cruiseline, they should get your airline seat assignement. The cruise line does not do this. The packet should contain the cruise documents, luggage tags, documents that need to be completed before you arrive at the port, an information brochure with just about all the info you every will need to enjoy your cruise, some lines give you tour brochures, tux rental info, Floral & Gift order forms, etc.
Bon Voyage
