Where are the HAL staff & crew from?

I will be cruising on the Volendam in November and was just wondering where the HAL staff and crew are from. I really enjoy meeting people from all parts of the world and consider talking with staff and crew about their countries to be a really fun part of the cruise. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks!

Officers are mostly Dutch on HAL ships, although there are also a number of British.

The stewards are mostly from the Phillipines and Indonesia.

Medical Staff is usually from US and Canada.

The crews of HAL are IMO the best on the seas. They are fabulous people, well-trained and provide genuine service. We are very fortunate to call many of them friends.

Volendam is a wonderful ship....she has some great crew members. Hope you have as good a time there as we have.
