Hello.. can you give me your opinion on the best place (fare wise) to book a crusie on the Norwegian Dawn? I've rec'd a price directly from the cruise line but I am wondering if I could do better somewhere else?

Also, first time on ND.. family of 4. Can anyone recommend a category/deck to request? We def. want Oceanview at the least and would consider a balcony room if it is THAT much nicer. Would like to be close to the pool, etc.

There are so many places to book cruises, but you should definitely compare because there can be big differences in prices. I book ours on www.cruise411.com because we are AARP members and there is an additional discount. I have always found their prices to be at least $100 cheaper than Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc. I think everyone has their favorite booking site and you will probably hear about many of them from other responses. We haven't been on the Dawn, so can't comment on it. A good website where you can look at cabin sizes and descriptions is at www.cruisestateroom.com Enjoy your cruise!

We just booked the Dawn for March 14 for our family of 5-two adjoining oceanview rooms. We used cruisevalue.com. I compared their on-line prices with a bunch of others and found cruisevalue.com to be much lower. I've also used bestpricecruises in the past. For our family, we always book adjoining oceanview rooms and they work out very well.

I just booked with bestprices for a celebrity cruise and found a great rate. At least $100 to $500 difference between them and anyone else.
