The downside of where the Princess dock is that it is not close to any hotels. It is located in the industrial ports. Having the cruise ships dock in Seattle is all new. They have only been doing it about 5 years I believe.I have had several friends take the cruises out of Seattle and have not seen a hotel van there yet. Plenty of taxis however.As to whether to stay at the airport or downtown.
