Where will I see the credit?

I had to cancel one of the reservations on my original booking. After deducting my $250 "penalty" for cancelling the TA said I would be "credited" for the balance. I received my credit card statement and no credit was on it. Are they just dragging their feet to take advantage of the float or is it possible when he said credited he meant on-board credit that I can use on the ship(which I don't really mind except that he didn't explain it that way)? Getting closer now

It could be an onboard credit, or it could be that it's just taking longer than expected to show on your credit card account - some credits can take up to two billilng cycles. I'd give the TA a call so that you know where to expect the credit.

SInce it was a person you were cancelling Iwould be very surprised if it was a cabin credit. (unless you asked for it that way. Lizard is correct--two billing cycles. Next one should be it.

When we booked a cruise last year and cancelled it took a good 2 billing cycles to show up on our credit card statement. If you have online access to your credit card then it may be on there already but not show on your paper statement til cut and sent to you.
