Which hand held radios work the best?

We are taking our children on this cruise and we are looking to either buy or rent radios. We are traveling on the Carnival Conquest in April. Does anyone know the price to rent the radios? Which one would you buy if you had to?

Hi Our group uses walkie talkes on board. We bought our own which are coba brand microtalks app. $30 per pair 22 channel app.2 mile range they come with aaa rechargeable batteries and charger Carnival rent motorola brand at $12 per day or less for a full cruise depending on the ship. You would have to call Carnival for price for Conquest. We found it to be much cheaper to buy our own. Also our last cruise was on the Conquest. We loved it Hope you Have a fun cruise also.
