Which ship?

I have sailed on the Constellation. Will I be disappointed with the Century or Horizon because they are not Millenium Class ships? (We really loved the large Thalassotherapy pool!) Does anyone know what changes are being made to the deck plans of the Century?

NCL Southward ‘77
RCCL Song of America ‘84
Dolphin ‘88
NCL Windward ‘ 99
RCCL Majesty ‘00
Celebrity Constellation ‘03

Been aboard the Song and recently the Infinity. To compare the Horizon. hmmmmm. pretty difficult actually. The Infinity same basic's as the Constellation so I guess I would say if you liked the flow of people throughout the ship onboard her you will indeed be disappointed in the Horizon. Public lines and spaces just not planned as well on the older ship. That being said we really enjoy the Horizon and Zenith for what they are and that is smaller and more intimate. Not of course like the old "Song" that was our first ship and remains a great memory. Even if I did get eaten everytime by the shower curtain. Now that was a fun ship and sailed like a ship not a hotel.

We loved the Infinity and then this year were on the Horizon. My husband declared the Horizon our best cruise ever. This was the smallest ship we've been on and gave us opportunity to run into our new found friends frequently. The service in the dining room was superior and we just loved the Cova Cafe on the Horizon. I missed not having any hot tubs. I don't think you can go wrong with Celebrity.

Personal prefference would be for the Century. Haven't sailed her but have the Mercuyry several times. Also have done the Horizon a couple of times. I don't know anything about changes, other than the Captain's Club.

Whatever you choose, i'm sure you'll enjoy.

We sailed on the Millennium and Summit and I thought I wouldn't like the Mercury. Boy was I wrong. We loved her. Both class ships had something different to offer. I did prefer one over the other.

After our Mercury experience I am willing to give the Century a try. Looking into sailing on her in October with a girl friend. Celebrity has such good service and food other little things that are not offered on the smaller ships I can easily overlook. I did miss the "Spa Lunch" on the Mercury though.

No such thing as a bad cruise, only a better one. :dance

I think you will be very happy sailing on either of these ships.
