Wow, I didn't realize Nassau was so unpopular especially since we loved it.
Personally, I find Princess Cays nice, but to me, it's just another beach - I could find a nice beach anywhere in the carribean. To me, a port day in Princess Cays is just "filler" - a cheap way to keep passengers entertained for half a day. Next time i'm there, I think I'll spend the day enjoying the ship.
But I respect others' opinions - we all go for something different.
Paradise Island in Nassau is awesome, with the hotel and the aquarium. And mainland, we loved the restaurant "Conch Fritters" cuz they had awesome drinks and those everso tasty conch fritters and the world's greatest rum cake is there (Bacardi rum cake) -which completely destroy's the overrated Tortuga rum cake by a longshot and is worth the $15 US even if it's pricey. And the shopping there was pretty good.
But it seems people actually DO find value in Princess Cays, so I guess that sort of answers my question.
Am I alone here, or does anyone else here feel Nassau has more to offer than Princess Cays?
