Do you like the NEW Oasis of the Seas? Or not? What are your thoughts?

I think she's going to be fantastic. We're hoping to go with Lizardstew, Chris and his parents on 9/11/2010 which is Jenni's birthday.

Well, I've learned to Never say Never. :)

For what we like, the ship is Way too big. But, at the same time, she is a marvel and who wouldn't want to see the inside of that ship? So, while we do not have immediate plans, or future plans, to sail the Oasis. You just never know. ;)

We're not planning on using Oasis, we much prefer the Radiance or Millenium class ships. I think the VYs, FRs and OAs are for a different type of cruiser than we are. In fact, Celebrity is now meeting our needs more than RCI is.

It sounds interesting, but I felt the Freedom was too big, so I am going to wait to see how the review are. Then I might book the Oasis.

I agree with Corky, never say never. Maybe a with years from now.
I want to hear first about the crowds on board how bad or how good is it!

Booked on it for January and more than likely will be canceling it. Decided to wait until things calm down. You can buy a small nation for what they are charging to cruise on this ship.

Also, if things haven't changed for the better at Pt. Everglades then I will avoid it completely. This IMHO is still the worst cruise port to date. Hopefully the new terminal will help things.

I want to eventually but it's kinda expensive right now. I'm with some people on the it might be too big but I still want to say I was on it cause it looks amazing.

Way to big

No way. Can you imagine the nightmare of getting off this monstorsity(sp?). Crowds on Mariner and Freedom can be a real pain - can you even imagine what Oasis will be like?

We are booked for Feb of 2011 and can't wait to see this ship! We had no issues with crowds on either Freedom of Voyager class ships. We didn't experience long lines and we had no problem getting on or off the ships. We also had no problems with the shows. We had a lot more problems finding seating for shows aboard the Emerald Princess. We absolutely love them!

I will book a back 2 back soon as possible.
I was about to do it earlier but there was few other trips I had to do and pay for firts.
Looking forward to do the cruise in October 2010.
Can't wait, every since I did read of Oasis of the Seas I've been very exiting of the new ship. It will be something really new and different.
I do not mind the large crowds, since I'm a fan of the Voyager and Freedom-class ships too.

it truly is a destination unto itself. I for one am not worried about the on and off-been there anyway, and even though will leave the ship at some points just ain't gonna let it bother me. :) Cheers!
