PH is right Earl....not really close to being the same menu. They have cut back on the quality of food in the Windjammer over the last few years. Most of it is kept warm on a steam table....including steaks.

Best bet is getting the pasta made to order...now that is really good..........sometimes they also have stir fry made to order too...............

Most cruise lines closes the casual dining area on the last night, just for that reason.

Even if it is the same food, it sits under a heat lamp. Might as well stay home and go to Luby's

PH8..
Heck no! But it is not sitting around for hours being heated by a lamp. Comes down to timing....Have done the kitchen tour and it is ready before the seating is done, (second seating) but the WJ stuff is done and waiting before first seating.

But your point is well taken.

We walked thru the WJ on Thursday night (Western Caribbean cruise) just to see what they had. We had reservations for Chops later that evening.

It looked like New York strip steaks cut to order - yes under a heat lamp, BUT - it looked delicious!!!!! Wish we had tried some. We put that on our list of things to do next cruise. We did eat at WJ on a previous cruise one evening, and it was great. They did have shrimp cocktail on that trip - all you can eat, but of course you had to get it yourself. DARN!

On the bright side - I worked off a few calories on the walk to and fro. :)
