Hello everyone! *waves* I'm a Celebrity devotee, and long-time fan of Century... I think she's an absolutely beautiful ship :loveya I'm very tempted by one of these Channel Island taster cruises (2-3 nights) that they'll be running on her once her refurbishment is complete... sounds heavenly, and dead convenient! A friend of mine's just pointed out that on the Celebrity site, they seem to be a running a wicked competition where you get entered in a prize draw to win back the cost if you book online:

this makes it even more tempting!! *wrestles with bank balance and willpower*

When I read this, I though you were referring to the Channel Islands near Ventura, California. What you are talking about requires a long expensive trip by jet. In fact, the air portion might take longer than the two day cruise. Also, did you notice this at the bottom ...

** Offer and prices applicable to UK & Eire bookings only. 2 night taster cruise from £199 pp based on Category 9 stateroom, sailing on Jun 11th 2006. 3 night taster cruise from £349 pp, based on Category 7 stateroom sailing on 8th June 2006.

We were on Century for the first time two weeks ago just one week before her last Caribbean cruise before dry dock. She was in fantastic shape just before drydock so I am sure she'll be fabulous after her makeover :thumb
