wireless access on cruise ships?

I was wondering if Carnival has wireless internet available on the ships, mainly the Destiny? We'd like to be able to check-in with family and our laptops are wifi enabled.

Yes the Destiny has WIFI near the onyx bar. If your cabin is close enough you may get it in your cabin. We were on deck 6 and did not get it.

You won't be able to get it in your cabin. You're charged regular ship Internet rates for both wireless and non-wireless 'Net access. Details:
