I bet not many will answer but here goes ----- HOW OLD ARE YOU?

The picture you see of me by my name was taken this Easter. May 16th I turned 90!! Yes, 90 and proud to be here. Not many make it so every one of you should be thrilled to say that at your age (whatever it is) you are on the right side of the grass! Many want to know how come I don't look old. Well for one thing I love laughter. I look for joy and usually find it. I love people -- always interested in them, what they do for a living, what are their dreams, what is their love story and a 1000 other questions I could ask just to find out who they really are.
Today in this world, we are losing our ability to connect with people or have meaningful conversations all because electronics have taken over our lives. We act as though we don't need each other. We are quickly becoming a silent world -- too wrapped up in cell phones or too afraid to talk for fear of saying something not correct. So I'm asking who are you, starting with how old are you? Now you know a very little about me but I am an interesting ole gal and I'm having the time of my life!

Off the soap box now!

I just asked my husband how old did he think you were and he said 60s!!!! So you are doing something very right by laughing and enjoying life. I’m into my 70th year and feel much younger until I stand up and try walking! My knees are about 100!

Thank you so much, Seamom. I do use a cane (have 4 different colors --- I like to stay classy) just as my security blanket. I've never fallen but one time and that was over a suitcase I didn't know was open in my closet by a visiting daughter. Here is a close up of the one I had made at Easter. I always try to keep joy in my heart. It's now been 3 years since my sweet husband of 67 years of marriage died. I finally decided to give the love I can no longer give to my husband to people who are so in need of an uplift and that is the way I honor my husband! Thank you again for a sweet comment. I just wanted everyone to know unless we are totally ill we don't have to be depressed!

You are AWSOME! I'm in my eighties and feeling good. Taking a solo cruise end of June. Way out of my comfort zone without my dear husband
of 59 years. I have a wonderful family, and do believe we all must look ahead to living, stay as active as we can, and enjoy life! ;)

red stripe.. taken last Aug. 83 Years…

And amazed that I am still here lol

I stay active, I always have a smile on my face..I love life!

like Glo..I love to connect to people. And I try to make them comfortable . Plus I always want to make someone feel good about themselves, and not tear them down.
It is so much more gratifying to make someone smile.

I never understand people that enjoy making people feel bad or stupid. What on earth do you get from that?

yet how many times do you see someone making nasty remarks about someone? And in a loud enough voice that they are bound to hear.

Every day is a gift.

Bob says you look just about the same as he saw you last. Thought you’d enjoy that as it must be 21 years ago! A very pretty pose for sure.

I am 71 but according to the doctors I should not be here especially with the heart trouble I have had the last few years. They say the only thing that has kept me going is the fact that I work out in the gym all the time. I know many 20 year olds that can not keep up with me and the doctors are surprised by how strong I still am after all the heart surgeries I have had.

Hi Glo, So impressive and you look wonderful! I totally agree with your perspective on society. I'm 53 and I like to be outdoors and exploring even though my work often has me behind a computer. I find myself trying to balancing it all.

Oh how wonderful!!!! I love that so many of you have told me a little more about yourself. And even put a picture of yourselves on the topic. You all look GREAT. I wish I knew you all a lot better. Red Stripe I've known you by your comments for a lot longer than some of the others. I've forgotten what your husband's "fun name" is but you used to chat up a storm on a lot of topics. And I see you still do. So many of you --- I could be your Mother!!!! or for heaven's sake --- your baby sitter. Well thanks for allowing me to know more about you. When you go sailing/cruising think of me. I wish I was right there with you.
