One is more forward and the other is going toward the aft- which one do you think you would feel lest movement?

No. But only because I'm not a "Carnival Cruiser".

The closer you are to the ship's center of gravity, the less motion you'll feel. Usually, this is the lowest deck, as close to the centerline as possible and amidships.

Aft cabin would be better , I once had a cabin forward, never again too much movement.
of course mid ship would be the best place. lower the better.
