Hi,

I'll be sailing on RCCL in December and my family of eight wanted to go to a resort for the day and use the pool, beach and other resort ammenities in Nassau. But, I can't really afford the Atalantas hotel price just to be able to use the pool. So, I found this other resort called, Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino and it's only $130 a night plus tax. Has anyone ever been there? Is the hotel and ammenities in good shape? Also, if we say their are only 2 adults and 2 kids under 12 in the room and pay the extra $12.00 pp ammenitie use fee, would our other family of four still be able to use the hotel ammenties also? Or does this hotel have arm bands that identify their guests like Atlantis does?
Thanks and any help or suggestions on this would be great!

My brother and I just returned from a 4-day RCI cruise out of Port Canaveral with a stop in Nassau 8am-midnight. We used the bus the locals use by catching it in front of McDonalds. It is the #10 Jitney. You pay $1 when you get off. Ask the driver to stop at Cable Beach. Only 15-20 minutes.
We did not buy a day pass. We just took our own beach towels (not the ones from the cruise but our own personal ones) and headed out though the hotel. It is a long beach for several hotels. We were going to just sit on our beach blanket, but we bought a few drinks and felt comfortable using the hotel chairs. We were the only ship in port, so it was not crowded.
