Well, back to square three. Here is the note I received from my travel agent ...The promotion you saw is not available in the same or higher category. You can only the book the new rate if it is in the same category or a higher category. They have lowered the fare by $20 but in the process you lost your shipboard credit. I have to contact sales on Monday and see if they will reinstate the SBC and the old fare as when I pointed out their mistake they were unable to fix it and put back the SBC. Thus your discount is only $20 and the SBC would be more at $25.00. I will let you know once I hear back from Carnival Sales Department.
