I want to do everything when I'm at home and then I get on the ship and I don't want to do a thing! $1000 came and went very fast for our upcoming Coral cruise and I still have 2 ports to book.Can't wait to hear about your cruise, as it is one we've been considering. The only thing holding me back is whether the boys (14 & 11.5 yrs.) would be happy with a ship that small. Hope you have a short count down!Buddy - Just be careful when booking independent shore excursions. If the ship cancels that port or shows up late, you'll miss your excursion and you won't be reimbursed for the tour in most cases. Sometimes though, I think you get a much better deal going independently. We do it in some ports too.
