We are just exactly 9 months after the big blizzard last year.....which started Christmas week and then week after week after week.

The maternity wards are full......one nurse is even making t's that say Blizzard Baby. =lolgang I guess movies weren't an option for a lot of people.

I am a nurse who had a month of deliveries at my hospital after similar circumstances a LONG time ago.. problem is I was Med-Surg; who also "floated ".. =eek.. did'nt matter.. the"float nurses"....got sent to Maternity for a month..women were in HALLWAYS!!.. oh well.. Denver will have a banner school numbers class that year.. what a spike of kids!!..:)..Joanne

That's funny Judy! We had something similar up here recently. The maternity ward at the base hospital has been busy with multiple births nine months after the soldiers returned from Iraq. :lol Apparently more babies in one week than they have had in memory.

Oh Judy dont say that s word,I dont want to remember that word and you being up on that hill,at least Abe with his new job as regional manager wont have to go as many places now,just thinking of all those mountain passes,yikes!

Well when it's dark and cold (say, 40 below) it's always nice to stay in and keep warm...Uh, yes, cabin fever...

Movie or nookie...Movie if there's Milk Duds and popcorn around.
