Zenith is one of our Fav's. Older now than the rest of the fleet, but I understand holding up quite well. It had the first martini lounge in the fleet and has hot tubs on the top aft for those lazy afternoons at sea before supper.
Mid ship elevator goes to the deck below the pool so get used to using fore and aft elevators to get to the pool deck.
Nice sundeck area's aft of some cabin decks. Kind of like your own area if you find them. Fleet bar (I think that's what it is called) topforward is the spot for after dinner drinks and dancing.
Great ship enjoy..

Awesome.

Are any of the pool heated and with massaging pipies? Had that on the Horizon which I though is the sister ship to the Zenith.

yes Horizon was a sister. Since sold of course. Neither ship had heated pools when I was last aboard. Purhaps the Spa area had been upgraded on the Horizon.
Zenith still has it's hot tubs on the aft deck.

So how are the cabins? On such an old ship I guess you need to be lucky that the beds are overworn. Celebrity usually does a great job with liquid soaps in the showers, robes and other in room amenities.

We stayed in the same cabin everytime we were aboard. Never noticed any change. well that's not true the third time the air conditioner worked a lot better than the other two times.

I don't think you will notice much that looks old. I under stand that they are in the process of upgrading linens and things as they get to them over time right now.
The only negative about the rooms we found was the size of the bed when the two twins were placed together. It's huge and blocked easy acess to the window.
If you check the plans you can find a few rooms with queens that run parallel to the ship and allow access to the windows.
great ship. enjoy your planning

Does they give out bath towels and are dryers in the room? On such an old ship you never know.

Wow, the Zenith is still around? I thought it would be in the scrapyard by now. I was on the Zenith in 1993 for my first cruise and to the Western Caribbean. I had the most amazing time. The ship was beautiful and the food was fantastic. I don't have anything bad to say about it. Lots of good memories.
