for beginners, they had to change rooms...the first room was for only sleeping through the night...that didn't work, so they were changed again.  then next day the gave dad a room key and they proceeded to move...he opened the door and there was a woman just coming out of the room (ship attendants had transposed the room #)  then they finally got moved to an unoccupied room (i believe 4 days into their cruise) and when they opened the door to the bathroom...there was sludge/sewage all over the floors so plumbers had to be brought in to fix the problems.  the ship was not very clean, they had a terrible head housekeeper who when out of his way to ignore them....etc., etc.  there's much more but this is just for starters
