Princess Cruises is moving the majority of its published calls away from Princess Cays, its long-running private beach destination on Eleuthera in The Bahamas. Princess confirmed the change directly to Cruise Critic, which first reported the itinerary shift September 1, saying most published calls have moved to RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Some sailings are also being redirected to Celebration Key.
Princess has not announced that Princess Cays is closing, and the destination still appears on the line’s website, so the safest framing is that most upcoming calls are being shifted rather than the destination being abandoned entirely. Princess Cays has been part of Princess itineraries since 1992.
