Creating Chill Island & The Hideaway

Creating Chill Island

First stop is Chill Island, complete with four of the seven pools on Icon. At the heart of this three-deck oasis is Royal Bay Pool, the largest pool at sea; and the serene, infinity-edge Cove Pool, where there are different ways to soak in the sun or kick back under the shade. Plus, there are a variety of spots to chill and sip on fresh cocktails, including The Lime & Coconut – with the cruise line’s first frozen cocktail bar – the vibrant Swim & Tonic, Royal Caribbean’s first swim-up bar at sea; and Cloud 17, an adults-only retreat with a pool and more.

The Hideaway

The good times continue at The Hideaway. Tucked away 135 feet above the ocean, this slice of paradise combines beach club vibes with uninterrupted ocean views.

At the center of it all is the first suspended infinity pool at sea, with 180-degree views, surrounded by a multilevel terrace with chaise seating, whirlpools, a dedicated bar and a DJ from sunrise to sunset.
