$50. credit

Before it got pulled on the CC board, people talked about how the credit had been applied in their situation. For those who had already paid in full, they said that they found the $50 credited back to their credit cards.

Unfortunately this coupon is not valid for any sailings booked after April 1, only those booked before that date. But Royal Caribbean sends these out to people who have sailed and we have received them before. I don't know if the coupon code is the same for coupons which are valid for different time periods. Probably there is a different coupon code for each different series of coupons.

We were hoping we would get another one since we had cruised on RCL in February, But haven't seen one yet. If we do, we'll post the coupon code and dates through which it is valid.

Hi,

My booking was paid in full and I received a $50 credit to my credit card about 3or 4 business days after I received an e mail saying I would be receiving the credit.

Its the C & A rep that was wrong, not the RCCL folks who receive the email. The coupon code is from a Friends and Family coupon. Occasionally RCCL will send two coupons to people who have sailed--one is for themselves and one is for Friends and Family. I have received these before and the Friends and Family coupon does NOT say that it is only for people who haven't sailed on RCCL. I have used them before and given them to friends who have sailed on RCCL to use them.

What occcured with in this case is someone posted the code on the coupon so others could use it. That coupon said that it was only for sailings booked by April 1. So it is likely that newer coupons sent out have a different code on them. If anyone receives a Friends and Family coupon from RCCL, it would be great if they could tell us this. I was hoping we would receive one from since we sailed in January. Sometimes we have received them after a sailing and sometimes we haven't.

Princess has a referral program where if someone has not sailed on Princess, they can get a special referral from someone who has sailed on Princess and will receive $25 per person (max two discounts) off of their final payment. This is only for people who haven't sailed before on Princess. We have given referrals to our friends and know this works. However, we have never heard of RCCL having any type of coupon that is only for people who have never sailed on RCCL
