Wow Karry, that was something. And even though my life couldn't be more different than yours, I too feel the same about cruising. It is mine, my time to escape this insane world. I don't have a lot. Been single mom for so many years. My older boys are doing great, but have a very sick and "legal" drug addicted 30 year old daughter I am still supporting, along with a great 17 year old son. No help from dads at all. So, I too have found "my time" whether I go alone, like I am in April, or with family and friends. It is incredible to escape to this other world where there is others taking care of YOU! And you have to do nothing but whatever it is you feel like. Even when I finally took my teenage son on the cruise, I hardly ever saw him for a week, and didn't have to worry about him. I skipped going on a cruise at all last year do to circumstances, but no more. I am taking back what is mine! Happy cruising and maybe we will see each other sometime out on the water! :wave
