Charles (Captain Weather) Updates-November

Tuesday Update, Nov. 2:

The surgeon is happy with the surgery. They didn’t have to do any bone grafting, just put in plates. There is little drainage which is great news. He is still on Morphine so is pretty out of it.

Your continued prayers are appreciated. News appears to be good, so far.

SECOND UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2:

Lots of people in the room this morning. The surgeon stopped by and they removed the drain they had put in. The orthopedic guy stopped by. The rehab person had Charles sitting up for a bit. Now is he whipped out! He is still on a morphine drip for the pain but all in all it sounds like the surgery was good and he is progressing.

He is enjoying the cards everyone has been sending (work, family, C@s, etc). "Mrs. Charles" and his son are bringing up a couple a day for him to open and read.

UPDATE - NOVEMBER 3:

Per his son today, Charles is doing good. He has therapy from 10:30-12 then again from 2:30-4 with visiting hours in between. He is off the morphine and is himself again.
