YIKES!! I am sometimes out of pocket on my days off and didn't hear this news until this morning. How aweful :(

Don't know what we'd do without Charles around here. My thoughts and prayers added to everyone else's for a speedy recovery.

Thanks Mary Ann for the updates.

Update:

Charles has been moved out of the ICU for now. He was able to sit up for a little bit today as well. He doesn’t have a phone, it sounds like a pre-op room. He might be having surgery on his leg Friday morning. The doctors have to check the bone is still in place and the swelling has gone down. We won’t know if he will have surgery until the day of (most likely Friday).

UPDATE:

Charles is reportedly looking good today, more like himself. He still isn’t eating much but the food they are offering doesn’t sound like food he would have eaten anyway (Fried Chicken dark meat, collard greens, etc). Charles' family will know later today if he will have the surgery on his leg tomorrow.

Thank you for your continuing concern.

After returning from my NYC trip I am just now getting caught up on things. I am very sorry to read of this unfortunate accident.

Good thoughts and prayers for Charles and the family will continue.

Thank you for your updates Mary Ann.
