Cruise Addicts meet in Antigua!!!

Hello Everybody!! I’m back from my Solo Carnival Splendor Repo cruise, and I had a wonderful time. Of course, I will begin putting together a full picture review in the next few days, but I wanted to post a segment on what my favorite part of my cruise was, and that was meeting fellow Cruise Addicts in Antigua!

One of the strange things about my cruise was, that of our four port stops, (St.Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, and St. Maarten), we were the only ship in port for three of them. Only in Antigua, would we see another ship, and that was the beautiful Royal Princess. Aboard the Royal Princess were fellow Cruise Addicts Tobyn, Barb (Bread), Judi, and Mike (Mal D Olive). We made arrangements in advance to meet when we arrived here. The following is a photo documentary of our meeting. Enjoy!!

Of course, the official drink of the Antigua Cruise Addict Meet was…….you guessed it……The Mudslide!!!!!

We hung out there for about two hours, until sadly it was time to go. We posed for pictures on the boardwalk in front of the Harbour View Bar and Café. The Royal Romp Gang, Barb, Tobyn, Mike, & Judi…..

They were going back to their ship, and I caught Mike & Judi on the pier…..

The Royal Princess was scheduled to sail an hour before the Splendor, so we decided that we would take pictures of each other from across the ships, during the sail away. Can you spot the gang?

The Royal Princess spins around to head out to sea…..

If you look closely, you can still see the gang in this picture. Look for Tobyn’s white shirt…..

The Royal Princess begins to leave the harbor….

The Royal Princess sails off into the sunset, their next stop is Aruba…..

So there you have it. A Cruise Addict meeting can happen at anytime, and anywhere!! It’s funny, because Judi and Mike live only a half hour from us, and though we do get together pretty regularly, since last winter we had not. It seems that life had gotten in the way for both our families, so it was ironic that it took a cruise for us to see each other again!! Hope you all enjoyed these pictures. Bye for now!!!
