I actually posted a long post earlier and managed to lose it while checking user activity down below. Needless to say I lost the whole post when I tried to go back.
Sheree, in referencing the Big Cat book of posting etiquette, it clearly states all odd hundred number posts are of less significance than even ones...that's why I only take the even ones. But go ahead enjoy your moment, as insignificant as it is. I was on-line and had every intention of stealing that puppy earlier and my phone rang creating a diversion to deliberatly get me away from the computer.

Ok, and for those of you who have been on the Freedom, did you have any problems finding a lounge chair or a seat in the Windjammer? I've seen a number of posts over in the old neighborhood saying that finding table in the windjammer has been a problem, but then others have said that there is no problem. I guess I am just curious what your experience was???

can't rememebr of we had problems on the Freedom or not. But I do not think we did. except the pool was crowded but then again I do not lay out at the pool so I did not have any problems finding a chair.

Hmmmm....so today I am leaving work and I turned on my phone after pulling out of the parking garage. I've got a voicemail. It's George, trying to pull me back from the dark side, telling me that I really don't want to do an all-inclusive. Then I get home, log in to the boards, and amazingly, everyone is talking about visiting George and Anne at their "newly re-modeled all-inclusive." Co-inky dinkk? I think not!
Thanks to you all for trying to pull me back. Greg has always wanted to do an all-inclusive and I've always talked him into a cruise. Maybe what we should do is try an all-inclusive instead of Las Vegas, providing that we can find a good deal somewhere.
OK...so how about some serious and specific suggestions for next year? I'll do some research myself and toss a few ideas out there. Right now all I know if that I'd prefer something between 7 and 11 days, newer ship (Mariner's age or newer), not Eastern Carrbean (I need a change), preferrably Southern Carribean, and hopefully with a new port or at least one I haven't been to in a while. And I'd prefer RCCL, or maybe Norweigan, or maybe Princess, but will still consider Carnival. And I've heard mixed reviews on Celebrity, but I'd consider that too. As far as time of the year goes, I prefer September to October, but that's not terribly important. What are you guys thinking? List your preferences!

It's not often we can all agree on the same thing, or anything for that matter But for once a pre-cruise stay at Casa De'Anne sounds like a blast. As you all know you're all more than welcome (must bring blender though). Should we consider a cruise from the west coast with a stop over here, lets do it prior to the house needing to go into dry dock again. Airfare is always reasonable to Phoenix and I can rent two vans, one for all of us and the other for the O-girls luggage
On the cruise front, wanting to lend a helping hand in narrowing your search Sheree...ditto! As I always say, we are flexible and will do anything the group wants to do. We would also be open to the Mariner once again, to date our favorite ship. A lot will depend on this Liberty sailing and if this will be the ship that's to big. If we can find a longer cruise in close price proximity to a seven day, that would be our preference. Several people I work with are avid cruisers and are stuck on Princess. Unfortunately the only thing they have to compare to 7 day Alaska cruises on Princess is several 3-4 day cruises out of Los Angeles on Carnival. I don't think we would be open to Celebrity or Holland America...I would get thrown off for sure.
One thing I haven't heard to much chatter about is what we are planning for the islands. Does anyone know if there is a Margaritaville, Carlos n' Charlies, Senor Frogs, etc...in either San Juan or St. Marten?

George you lush..... is that all you want on our cruise, Booze, booze and more booze? You an Tom can hang at the bars and I will take Anne off on my excursion. I have heard what I am doing is the best excursion of all. I have a planned excursion for Puerto Rico.
I am stepping off the boat and the excursion starts right there. I am guzzling all the free frozen pina Colada's they give you at the port on arrival and and getting my "BUZZ ON" then taking a cab to the BIG MALL! The girl at work is going to give me the address and what stores to hit so that no precious port time is wasted. Then on the way back I am stopping at the 2 story Ross in downtown by the port. WOW my day will be filled full of fun fantastic shopping. Then I am hitting the free Pina colad's on the way back to the ship. This may be my best cruise yet. I am sure that Anne and Sheree will want to take my excursion.

My preference is AN ALL INCLUSIVE!!!!! Sheree I taked it over with Tom and we agreed that if you want to cruise that Gregg and I can go to the all inclusive and you and Tom can cruise with everyone else. How does that sound too you.
