Hotels?

Welcome aboard. The Ren is a great hotel, have stayed there several times now. There are a couple really good places nearby (the bimini boatyard for seafood and Bravo for Italian), a Walgreens across the street and a French bakery around the corner for a killer breakfast croissant and egg sandwhich.

Would love to be staying right downtown but parking is a problem. John and I are driving down from Canada so have decided to use some points and stay out by the Airport @ Fairfield by Marriott. They allow for us to leave our car for up to 21 days at no extra cost. Their shuttle will deliver us to the port.

OK, I made reservations for Saturday night and Sunday night at the Hampton Inn downtown. This way we can just stroll around town and look. We have stayed at a Hampton Inn before, and the HC rooms are good and usable for Oscar.

Denise, we are still up in the air at this time.. we looked at where you are staying, but their prices are not coming down.. and we do not have a military rate.. That must save you guys a bundle.

Yes, we arrive at the Embassy Suites on 2/27, should be there by noon if flights go well.

Every time we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, I want to stay at the Embassy Suites however last year we spent some time at the bar and had a good time. Can not wait to hear the reviews

We arrive midday on the 26th and will be waiting poolside for the rest of U to arrive. :boogie: Just look for the LARGE pile of empty Corona bottles and I will be close by.
