We are in the process of booking a cruise on the Destiny, Its my Better half granddaughter 16th, birthday in Jan
we will surprise her at Christmas. We figure Carnival would be the best cruiseline for a 16 year old.
it will be her first cruise!

My wife Donna and I are both Platinum level members and have cruised on Carnival almost every year since we met back in '99. Many of these were 3-4 night cruises (initially out of NYC and now Long Beach), but we have also done longer ones to the Caribbean. Carnival cruise #12 for us will be this coming October on the Splendor.

I won't say that every cruise has been 'smooth sailing' and we have had our share of small complaints. However, overall we are very happy with Carnival ships, crew and ports of call.

At this rate I may be spending almost at much time sailing on cruiseships as I did on a number of ugly, haze-grey ships when I was in the Navy.

well I have to blame Carnival for getting me started in cruising, our first cruise was on the Tropicale in 1990 but in our almost 40 cruises only 4 have been on Carnival. Besides the Tropicale, two on the Jubilee and 1 on the Elation her maiden year.

My wife's first cruise was on the Tropicale, with her first husband and family. She still talks about how much fun they had and when we began dating in '99 she convinced me to take my very, first cruise. Now we are Platinum members and approaching our 12th anniversary.
