I think I'm feeling better, I had a bowl of soup and seven up....it stayed down!!!!

Hanging around the house all day as they have been working on the yard. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so the sod won't be cut, so we will have to wait for Tuesday to get the grass. I think the sprinklers will be installed tomorrow and mortar around the brick on the left side of the driveway....teh rest is done.

Not sure whether to try going out to dinner or not.

Yea, I asked the guy if he took a day off....he said 'Maybe if it rains". He has gotten three other jobs from our neighbours since he started.....so I think the guy is busy making money. I know he took last weekend off to go down to Mojave to visit inlaws.

Signing off.....gonna go watch Bridget Jones Diary(AGAIN)............Dennis still not home......he left here Thursday night........went to the Keys(Fri am)......then to Miami to pick up a load(last night)......got to Atlanta around noon today.....headed to Kissimmeewill get there around 2am,I think) before he can come home something in the morning.......hes gone about 1200 miles he said......hes sleeping now somewhere in GA.......

Who sneazes and pulls a muscle in their neck??? Hmmmmm.... Geee... I wonder..... That sound s like a dorky thing to do....... YOU THINK!!!!
I was letting teh dog out this monring and sneezed just a sneeze but before i coudl straighen up I realized i had pulled a muscle iin the side of my neck... FIGURES... Oh well I am gonna take a muscle relaxer and skip church hopefully it will be better soon....

Ruttie: I hate when I get just a "Catch" in my neck and every time you turn your head it "Catches" and drives you crazy.
What you did seems even worse. Heat/Ice......something like that must help. Not sure which one!! =huh Now that was a big help ...yeh?

WE HAVE FREEZING SLEET RIGHT NOW. My front windows have a SHEET of ICE on them and look like those shower doors that you can't see through!!

Sure glad I don't have anywhere to go. Church will be in the house today for sure!!

San: Hope the Landscape job is coming along as you want. Do you get a discount from this guy since so many of your neighbors are getting him to do work for them?? Should have had that in your "contract" before he started!! Do it on the next OUTSIDE PROJECT for sure.
HOpe you're TUMMY is getting better. Plain boiled rice is easy on a stomach.

Got a few minutes before we're heading back out to have lunch with friends. I didn't want anyone to think I had jumped ship! In between running here and there yesterday, I managed to take a quick look at all our threads, but didn't have any chance to post. I was determined to at least say hi this morning.

And having said that, our friends just arrived, so I gotta run again. Hopefully, things will quiet down tomorrow.

Good morning......I'm finally over the stomach bug. Went out last night and had a big turkey dinner.....I feel good.

Hey PH, I could use a couple of those Buca de Beppo gift cards if you have some left over....I like the one close to us. You have my address.

It's raining now, so I guess nothing much will get done on the front yard today....that's OK, because it was ahead of schedule. The guy did throw in a couple of extras that weren't in the contract, K2....I'm satisfied with him.

Ruttie, I hope the neck gets better.....that happens to me sometimes when I am watching TV laying on the couch at an angle.

BB, have a good busy day with your friends. Have you done your shopping for the next cruise yet?

Those repair guys for computers are some of the reasons that we are a throwaway society, Kc. It's too easy to get a cheap new item rather than spend the hassle getting somethings fixed. It's too bad. PH is right about eMachines.

Well.....I for one will never ever buy again at a RCI recommended shop! No more stores for me on a cruise....how about you ladies....you've all been warned:D

K2 hope you are staying warm While I know it seems bad for you guys I think it would be a dream to be able to just for 1 day stay inside in my Pjs snuggled up nextto teh fire with my hubby and a good book..w well at leats teh book part HA!

well my neck is feeling a bit better after a hot bath my BIL who is a dr called in some Valium??? Said that that was the best muscle relaxer. Never has that before richard went ot get it from the pharmacie.. I imagine I will have no choice but to lounge on my couch today after i take that.....
Busy morning, instead of church went to target... picked up one of my sons friends and rented them a movie called ZOOM from Block buster.... Just ordered Pizza 3 for 15 dollars sounds good to me will have plenty of left overs for teh whole day... still have not had a chance to see the new boat.. But I did decide to keep the gaurantee cabin... She assures me it will be at least a cat 9 or higher and i have looked on teh diagram none of those are in a bad spot AND with the past guest special It is as cheap as a normal balcony..... Who knows maybe i will luck out and get the queen B suite! HA.... or whatever you call it I doubt it but its worth the anticipation... I usually do not do suites so if i do luck out it will be a treat.....

We're up to 33 degrees and the ICE on the Windows is SLIDING DOWN. Sure hope it takes the dirt with it!! I might get clean windows out of this storm!! :)

I just installed a new VIRUS, SPAM type detector. My McAfee thing was just not cutting it for me. This cost me $40 and found 483 things that were wrong. Also got some other kind of cleaner upper with it. Hopefully, it didn't take too much of my "GOOD STUFF" off the computer!! Time will tell!!

CC Board is still a B*TCH! Just not worth going over there.

Good Sunday all,

Ruttie, hope your neck is better. OUCH! Had to laugh about your kids playing Ghost in the Graveyard. When ours were younger, the kids used to play flashlight tag.....had to be dark out....and we didn't worry about the kids getting kidnapped (really, we figured if they did get taken, the kidnappers would be calling us and paying us to take them back, LOL).

All of you having bad weather, take care, but keep it in your neck of the woods. It's really nice here today, probably about 40, but that's pretty nice for late February.

San, glad you're feeling better. I have some clients (friends, really), going on the Serenade repo with you...I'm sure you'll meet them in the CL. They keep asking us to go, but Bill wasn't too interested in the itinerary, so I ddidn't make any plans.

Breeze, enjoy your company, see you on here tomorrow. How is Scruffy?
I agree with you, I think the beard makes him look older. But since when do they care what we think?

Hah, Rita!.....it's probably me, not the itinerary that is keeping Bill away from the Coastal. Too bad, it would be nice if you both came along.

Back home for a little while, so I thought I'd check in. We had a nice lunch with our friends over at our Sunset Grill. Food was yummy! Haven't had anything bad there yet. It's also getting very popular, so they're going to have to order more tables. I can just imagine what it will be like come summertime.

Rita - I'm hoping Scruffy will shave the beard off this week. We're going up to Gainesville Friday for a party with his former co-workers. The whole gang we used to hang out with, who have all retired since Bert left, are going to be there, so it should be fun. I don't think he'd want the guys to see that he looks like he has aged at least 10 years since they last saw him. Here's hoping!!!
You really need to work on Bill about that cruise. Tell him it's not about the itinerary, but the ship and company. Besides, you could tell him that San says Bill's chicken to do the trip. Maybe that will change his mind!!!;)

K2 - Glad you ice is melting. By the way, it's 82 here!:)P)

Ruttie - I hope the meds help. About the only thing worse then a pain in the neck is a pain in the SSA! And that pain usually has 2 legs! LOL

San - Glad you're feeling better. A turkey dinner sounds delicious. Now you'll have me wanting to make turkey again ... darn!

I was wondering this morning about the explosion I heard. Now I know where it came from! You did great, Ruttie, with your answer over there.

Time to go relax outside for a while. I have a feeling I'm not going to be getting a chance to do much of that over the next few weeks.

BB, I think that Rita is talking about the SFO to YVR cruise in May. Actually, it would be good if they did the ultimate Alaska, but then Bill is probably too chicken:D There's someone else that I wish would go also.
