Good morning! We were up bright and early this morning. Good thing too ... My obsessive/compulsive next door neighbor was out there cutting his lawn at 8:00! D*mn, there should be a law against that on a Sunday morning. The part that got me was that he cut it only 3 days ago!!! Then next came the edger and of course, he had to use the blower all over the outside of his house. God forbid that a bug or spider web be on his house! So now, even though my lawn was cut on Friday, thanks to him, my lawn looks like it needs to be done again!:X How did I get so lucky to get him as my next door neighbor?????
The gang got together last night for dinner at Kris & Gary's and ate like pigs. Jimmy had brought back a couple of pounds of bass he caught down south and made it the true southern way with cornmeal mixed with flour. It looked like a huge pile, but by the time the vultures got finished, I think there was only one piece left. It sure was yummy.
Bert and Missy's boys are back at Gary's this morning already. They're helping Gary trim up, pull out, and just plain get rid of some of their overgrown palms in front of the house. It was beginning to look like a jungle in front of their house!
So while things are nice & quiet around here, I can get some stuff done without being interrupted.
KC & GM - Glad you had a nice time at dinner last night.
GM - Have a safe flight home. Your Florida visit sure flew by!
PH - Is Dennis home for the day or will he be heading back out again?
San - It would be nice if you'd at least say hello.
