My little computer followed me to the hospital this morning. Leon is receiving infusion number four right now, and his sleep deprivation EEG will be this afternoon. The patient certainly doesn't function terribly well when he's sleep deprived - think old bear who woke up from hibernation entirely too early, but that will be the end of the tests for now. He's still walking upright, which is a huge change, still breathing better, and his eyes are staying open most of the time now. The prayers and medicine are working!

Am very happy to read a positive report. Give the bear a hug for me please.

Jacquie - thank you for the update. Obviously, I lost track of infusion numbers. What's important, though is the outcome. I pray Leon continues to improve. And I hope the sleepy bear gets through his sleep-deprived EEG today as well. If he's allowed to have it, please let him know that I'll have his coffee with Bailey's ready afterwards. {{{HUGS}}}

I'm very happy to share the good news that Leon did very well today with Infusion #4 and with his sleep-deprived EEG. I was, therefore, able to offer him just now his cup of coffee with Bailey's as he oftentimes requests during weekend Open House. :boogie: Seriously, Jacquie is very relieved - and so am I.

Jacquie is VERY relieved, indeed! Mary Ann, you know him entirely too well, because the first thing he did when he got home is have a Bailey's and coffee. I have a feeling he would have loved to take it with him in his insulated cup!

I leave the board for a week and all heck breaks loose. I am relieved that the infusions seem to be helping and going well.

I will be sending all my thoughts and prayers to Leon & Jacquie for continued improvement.

Thanks Meg, our good fortune continues, and the "patient" is even driving again, but not at night or when he's tired. I bought a Travelscoot like Niecez and KathyC's hubby have and now he's even grocery shopping with it as he doesn't get as tired. Thank Heavens for IV Globulin!!!!!

Jacquie, I am so glad to hear Leon is finding some freedom with the Travelscoot...I've been very happy with mine. Keeping prayers that the infusions continue to do their magic.

Oh boy scooter races in future-glad to hear he got one--know we all hate to admit we need one but sure makes so much more possible for us to do. Hugs to you both as always.

Wonderful news, Jacquie. It's such a blessing when a person can regain some modicum of independence when helped along by some type of scooter.

Way to go, Leon. :doubleup::cheer: {{{HUGS}}}
