Well, Constance...I'm sorry I won't be seeing you on my next cruise...a Carnival Miracle cruise. It will be my 4th Carnival cruise and I've enjoyed each one. Calling it low class all the way is kind of like calling all us who enjoy it low class...so I won't say what I really think of you and your "upper class" opinion. Enjoy your uppity cruises without riff-raff like myself to bother you. (td)

For someone who would never be caught dead on a Carnival ship, you sure are taking a strong interest in Carnival news stories. I think you need to seriously reconsider as I have found that many aspects of Carnival to be much nicer and of better quality than Royal Caribbean. Or at least try not to offend so many people!

Yes, sorry - I realized after I posted that, it was on the Carnival Forum. I was focused on the story itself.=huh Sorry that I offended!! And I agree, RCCL isn't much better. I've been cruising since I was 16, and I watched them go downhill for decades, but most notibly in the last decade. For those who have only sailed Carnival or RCL, I can see why they seem really good to you. I'll get my uppity butt off your board.

But since I don't sail Carnival, I'll stick to posting on the lines I sail. I only started this topic because I thought Carnival sailors would find it funny. My Dad sends me these stories, as Irishmen, we have a twisted sense of humor. And we're BOTH uppity!! At least when it comes to cruising.

If you would not be caught dead on a Carnival Ship, how do you know what kind of people are on board? I think that is a horrible, snobbish statement and think that most Carnival patrons are glad you AREN'T there!! What happened on the Miracle can happen anywhere...and does. I have been on several different cruise lines and Carnival is competitive with all of them. Even if cost were the same, I would still pick Carnival as opposed to RCI, Celebrity and Princess. But since you would rather pay extra for the same thing and don't even want to experience it yourself before making such comments, feel free to blow your money however you see fit. I would be more apt to ask for a refund if I were on a ship with snobbish folks like you.
