New Orleans Hotel anyone

My friend stayed in the French Quarters last year before her cruise and she absolutely loved it. She said it is really close to the port. She loved it so much she went back for a week just to vacation in New O. Personnaly I have family in LA so I chose to port out of Tampa on the Sensation in March. Have a fun cruise!!

ANyone else have information on motels, good or bad. Still haven made a decesion, but will by the 15th of the month. Thanks to everyong!

my favorite port nola, try turbotrips.com I have booked our hotel stays there they give you a good selection and are quite informative we stayed at the holiday inn on royal st and at the royal sonesta and also at the hilton hampton inn on st. charles . they are all close to the pier about 4 or 5 blocks away and real close to the quarter if you want to be near the action royal is a bit expensive but we wanted to be in a balcony room, the hampton was quite nice free breakfast in morning and very large rooms, there are many hotels near the pier so shop around and get your best price
