Just off the Galaxy and our waiter had no problem bringing second entrees to those hearty souls who wanted them.

I sometimes like to order two appetizers and two desserts and eat it all.lol.

But one time there was this one thin lady on the Celebrity Mercury ship and she would always order two dinners and two desserts just because she just wanted to taste them.
It is really strange but something inside of me didn't approve of what she was doing because she was soooo wasteful. Some people said they didn't see anything wrong with what she did. But to this day I still don't approve her behavior.

Imagine being served a big plate of turkey dinner with all the trimmings and this stupid lady says to us would you like some pasta? That was her second plate of food she had ordered and was brought to her at the same time as her turkey dinner. We all said,"NO"!!
The plate of pasta just sat there not even touched by her.

I would try not to sit next to her. But one night I saw her eat a couple of spoonfuls of one dessert and of her second dessert and just left it there. This really bothered me.

I know that there are times when you order something and it doesn't taste good so you order something else. But this lady wasn't having that problem.

Don't mind me, I just had to tell this story about this woman.

We just returned yesterday after a wonderful week on the Century ship. There was NEVER a problem getting a second on anything.......the appetizer, entree, dessert.................not that we took advantage of it every night.......being that we were more than stuffed. On the nights that we asked, we were served. On the other nights, additional servings were offered. Great wait staff. Very accomodating!

Hi ktown, Just came home Feb 3rd from the Galaxy. You can get 2 of any item you want. It wasn't a problem. My husband loves surf and turf and that wasn't a problem either. I love shrimp cocktail and had it every nite even though it wasn't on the menu. Enjoy!

We watch what we eat every day. I was also thoroughly programed by my wonderful Grandmother to "eat every thing on your plate -- there's little starving children in China, you know." I'm almost O-C about eating every morsel. BUT... when we cruise, we have a motto, "there's no food police on a cruise." I have, and will continue to order two of whatever I choose, I've never had any problem getting it, cheerfully and promptly, on any of my Celebrity cruises, or any other line for that matter. I will probably eat all of what I order, but if I don't, I'm sure the fish will appreciated it. LOL!

Let me apologize in advance to all those who are offended by my eating habits!

On the Millenium we never had a problem.......we would get an extra pasta entree that a few of us would share as a side dish and we could always order a shrimp cocktail if none of the appitizers on the menu were to your liking......
