I hate it when a "sell by" date appears on anyone. We don't come with one stamped anywhere on our body and physicians, while they may have ideas, are not in the position to ordain these things either. It is all in the care of the Good Lord and miracles do happen!

Thank you. My own doctor today said exactly what you're saying - we don't know. Six + years ago, one of his patients had a general physical and his lungs were fine. A few months later, he came in with a cough and a tumor the size of a baseball was found in one lung. It was removed surgically, and this person is absolutely fine today.
So, you never know.

My friend had radiation treatments Friday and today, and will have - I believe - 13 or 14 more radiation treatments on weekdays, then start chemo. He'll have a PET Scan this week, which will determine just where the cancer is located in his body. He's putting his affairs, including his will, in order so it's obvious he's aware of his dismal prognosis.
My heart is just breaking for him, his wife and his family.
He took a short business trip to Mexico a few days before the seizures that caused him to fall last week out of the blue. What a blessing it didn't happen during that trip.
He and his wife are very appreciative of your prayers...as am I.

The power of prayers manifests itself again.
My friend had his PET Scan today, his medical team fearing the worst. There is cancer nowhere else in his body, thank God. except the brain for which he's being treated. He'll complete his course of radiation and won't need chemo. His prognosis has now improved.
