He's improving, and just about back to what is normal for him. He devoured his breakfast, and then jumped onto the dining room table from the floor to take a few laps of PizzaBoy's leftover milk. After we gave him his antibiotic, he disappeared for several hours to take a long nap under the bed. (He usually naps on top of the bed.) So, we're letting him sleep as much as he wants to get this infection out of his system. Thank you again for asking!

I'm so relieved to see this, Lisa! GOOD BOY, Frasier!

Just now read about Frasier and I'm so sorry he was ill, but so glad he is on his way to recovery. Please give him hugs and kisses from me and my furbaby.

p.s. Love the name Frasier. I've always wanted to have two cats, and if I did, I would name them Frasier and Niles.

Lisa - I'm so happy to see that Frasier was improving. How is he doing now? Pucci send tail wags to his "cousin".

Thank you all again. It's amazing how quickly cats can recover. I honestly thought he was going to leave us on Tuesday. The image of him laying on his side and panting will never leave me. He's doing fabulously now -- his fever is gone, and he tolerated the hot weather today. (We did leave fans on today when we left for a few hours.) He even takes his pills with no problem. Just like for humans, he has to finish the whole bottle of antibiotic, even if he's feeling better. There are only four pills to go.

p.s. Love the name Frasier. I've always wanted to have two cats, and if I did, I would name them Frasier and Niles.
NiteStar, I smiled when I saw this. Originally, we adopted two cats, Frasier and his brother, who we named Niles. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep Niles. Had Frasier not developed diabetes, I was thinking of adopting a female cat and calling her Lilith.
