Thank you all - she has gone across the Rainbow Bridge and is now carefree and playing with Sweetie. The tears are flowing but I know it's for the best. Again thanks all.
Far too many of us know the pain of losing a beloved furbaby. It just seems like the pain won't ever go away, but it will, and only the warm amazing memories of a devoted companion remain. I am so sorry it turned out to be this diagnosis. Please try to remember the lifetime you shared with your furry friend, and know she understands you love her and don't want her to hurt.
Sue, My very first dog was a schnauzer named "Buster" . I loved that dog and I cried like a baby when we had to take him down even though I was in my 30's. So I feel your pain but remember all the joy this gift from God gave you over the years.
Oh Sue, I just read of your loss....my heart is breaking for you and I feel your pain. My lab Buck is going through some major health issues right now and I know when that time comes to make this decision it will be really hard.....but the right one to make. Hugs to you.
