Pucci update - 02/26/11

Forever Remembered
I happily report that Mr. Finicky ate his new food last night. At dinner time, he ate a fair amount out of my hand (why use the plate when the hand is available for Room Service?). At bed time, I placed a good amount of his new kibble in a cup of the beef broth I make for him, microwaved it, let it cool off...and he scarfed it down without coming up for air! GOOD BOY.

Since I couldn't gradually introduce the new food, we've been looking for adverse effects on his tummy (furbaby owners will know to what I'm referring)...he seems to be just fine, thank God.

Thank you for your continuing prayers and good thoughts.

So happy to hear that Pucci is eating his new food. I know that is such a relief for you. I remember making rice and lamb or ground siroin and rice for my Lexie, she was very Ill and the vet said that this would help her and it did. That was the only food she could keep down.

Fingers crossed that Pucci will continue showing interest in his new food. I guess he was hungry enough to give it a go. Am I reading between the lines that you didn't buy trip insurance....'slapping back of hand'????

Hugs and scritches.

Glad to hear Pucci is eating his new food.
I too hope it doesn't have any adverse affects on his tummy until he gets used to it!

Oh no - I always buy insurance. But as much as Pucci means to me, insurance wouldn't accept "I don't want to leave my pet" as a "covered reason". In my eyes, he's a family member; in their eyes, no.

Glad Pucci is doing well with the new food and so far is not having any tummy problems. Hope he continues to do well.
