R.I.P. Bruce

Forever Remembered
Some of you may remember a once-regular contributor to Cruise @ddicts, Brucie (aka Brucie).

I'm heartbroken to tell you that Bruce was killed, probably instantly, in an automobile accident this afternoon. It's believed his fragile heart gave out rather than succumbing to injuries. He was on his way to join the family for dinner. His beloved granddaughter, Arami, and her parents were visiting from out of town as an early birthday celebration for Sharon.

Joy turned to utter heartbreak in an instant. I've been sobbing uncontrollably - Bruce was a very dear friend. I'm in shock, as is the family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family. May God comfort them in their loss.

Brucie - I'll miss you.

With love,

Mary Ann & Pucci

I am stunned and in tears. I remember how proud Bruce was when sweet little Arami was born, and all of the photos he shared. He and Sharon were also very helpful when I was planning a land trip to a location with which they were familiar .... they gave us some great tips. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Thank you for letting us know.

Mary Ann and I have just had a cry together, and we both feel like our hearts have been ripped out of our chests. Brucie was one of the sweetest men I have ever had the privilege to know and his memory will live on in my heart and soul for a very long time. I will miss so much his weekly updates and pics of the Two Most Beautiful Granddaughters in the World. His heart may have been fragile, but it was full of love for so many.

Rest in Peace my sweet friend. You are gone, but you will never be forgotten.

For those who don't know the family...the lady is Sharon (his widow), the oldest little girl is Arami (son's daughter) and the baby is Emma Grace (daughter's daughter). Arami and her parents had flown in from out of town as a surprise birthday present for Sharon.

Mary Ann, I am very shocked and deeply saddened by this news. I don't know Bruce as you do but I do remember him and enjoyed his photos of his granddaughter. I also remember you or he sharing photos from when you were together.

May he rest in peace and may his family and friends find comfort in their memories of him.

I am so sad to read this, this morning. My heart breaks for his wife, children, and his beautiful grandchildren. You could just feel the love he felt for little Arami when he posted her photos.
